Should I replace tires
We are leaving for Disney in two weeks. We drive straight through from PA. We have been using the trailer for 2.5 years and have probably 2500-3000 miles on it. Tires are original. I am thinking of replacing tires before the trip. Or am I being paranoid?

If the thought of replacing is in your head you won't be satisfied until you do replace the tires.
Do it and enjoy the trip.

Have they been protected from UV? Covered? Treads look good, sidewalls? Reputable brand? If so, go for it. JMO.

the number of miles is no issue, they pop when they are new. I would replace them and have peace of mind.

You need to look at the date code and manufacture(most likely china). Also need to weigh your trailer fully loaded so you know what weight the tires and axles must hold. I personally like the Goodyear Endurance tires, they are US made and tow and track very good. All tires trailer car etc are made to be used and sit around. There is a chemical in the rubber that needs to be flexed for it to work (lubricate) the rubber.

My 17 voltage does not have many miles I’ve been wanting to replace since new. like frank says just for peace of mind. we got back from our Disney ft wilderness trip and noticed large bubble in side wall. It would have taken out one gray dump valve and fuel station we only live 70 miles from Disney. All our best fl

What are you going to replace the tires with? The same crappy Chines blow-ups? Might as well keep what ya got unless you want to change tires for a better tire, like the Goodyear Endurance.

Isn’t that why you change tires to go better. Or stereos some like stock some Sony some pioneer. Read reviews and see what’s best.quality for the individual. I like Ford others chevys some dodges,Just because somebody makes a difference choice than you might make doesn’t mean it’s a bad choice it’s what they want Freedom of choice. All our best from Florida

I think you are overdue to replace the unreliable stock tires and upgrade to Goodyear Endurance. I did and 9000 hard miles on crumbling U.S. infrastructure later - good as new. Worth every penny for performance and peace of mind based upon my experience.

Thanks
Thanks all for the thoughts and advice. I removed all the tires last night and I should have them back tomorrow with brand new Good Year Endurance tires ready to re-install. Sundancer was right. The thought was stuck in my head so peace of mind it is.

Replace them the original tires are not even worthy of being on the trailer when empty let alone once loaded they are overloaded I had a brand new unit with 3500 miles on it blow a tire and did over $2000 damage to the rig . From then on I will only run a quality G rated tire

Yes replace them! I too have the Goodyear Endurance and the trailer handles well, ( replaced the China tires) I have the 207-75-14 they have an excellent weight rating and are even rated to 80MPH @ 65PSI. you will be happy. Have a good trip

old tires
One thing to consider is selling your"old tires" locally. You should be able to get $20 to $30 each if they have a lot of tread. Local folks with utility trailere would be your market.
CraigsList or Facebook or similar may work best for you.
Don't just give them tot he tire dealwe so he can sell them.
You can also keep one tire as a spare assuming you have space to carry it. Check local junk yard for a car wheel that will fit.

I didn't replace them and one blew out at 70 MPH under the slide out. Did $5000 damage AND had to replace the tires. I went to 10 ply tires.
