Plumbing

I have 1 of the 3 bypass valves leaking. My problem is not knowing what kind of pipe it is. It is white and seems real stiff like pvc, and then it has a band on either side of the valve. I have done some work with pex before in a house but this seems way stiffer than per. Not sure how to get it apart to put a new valve in. Its a 2014 Denali 5th wheel

PEX in my coachman is very stiff and sealed to valves with a full copper sleeve.

That sounds like mine. Plan on trying it myself , but am sure its not going to be much fun. Not much room to work for sure. Thanks for your reply

I think the walk is thicker to ward off freeze damage that is more likely in an RV than a heated home.

I got it. It was 1/2 pex, I was able to cut the copper rings off with my dremel tool, and put new pex and a ball valve instead of plastic. Thanks for the replies. The worst part it was in a kind of tight area, but I got it, only about 3 hours longer than it should have taken lol
