CD,
The best pics are those in this post. Along with the pics is a CAD drawing of where the aluminum "studs" are located. I added some wood stud sections before finally just cutting out the wall board and finding the aluminum tubes that act as the framing for the Garage on our 2015 3800.
The cabinets are 24" x 30" and just sort of plano cabinets with about the right color. Got them at the local Ace Hdwe for less than $300.
My thoughts on where to begin:
Print out the post so that you have the CAD drawing and the measurements of where the aluminum tubes are located.
Pick a location for where you plan to mount the cabinets. And behind where the cabinet will be, run a strip of 2" blue masking tape down from the ceiling and drill 1/8" holes at the center of where each aluminum tube is according to my drawing.
If you hit the aluminum with each hole...then your garage framing is the same as my 3800.
On the wall of the garage, layout the width of cabinets you want and make sure they will fit between all the other stuff in your garage.
Order the cabinets...and hang them with 1/4" sheet metal screws to the aluminum tubes.
And ask away if you have questions!!!
