Squeaky floor
Just curious if anyone else has a squeaky floor in their master bedroom... Our floor squeaks at the foot of the bed, similar to a floor with a basement below.

We've noticed the same thing at the street side of the foot of the bed. It's a little irritating, but if that's the worst issue we have to deal with from this point forward we won't be losing any sleep over it (yes, pun intended)!

Yup, since we purchased it. Like you said, right at the foot of the bed and right around the furnace vent.

Thanks all, as suggested earlier, I will not lose any sleep over this. it is "comforting" to know that the squeak exists with others as well...

No squeak here, but then again I have the cheap "V" series 3605.

I think is another case of unskilled labor that caused this - when I tackle my winter projects (one of which includes gutting and remodeling the belly compartment thanks to another member on here!), I will place some wedges and construction adhesive between the floor and "joists" much as you would a squeaky floor in a house.

My 3905 has a squeak in the bathroom. If in put one foot in the front of the bathroom and one in the back I can rock back and forth and hear what sounds like the furnace air handler popping and the floor squeaking. Not really concerned. The house I grew up in had squeaks everywhere and it never had to go down the highway.

You may want to check the framing in basement beneath the bathroom floor to ensure they are properly supporting the aluminum floor structure. We noticed a similar issue in our Main bathroom after 6 months of full timing. Turned out i need to re-frame the wall in the basement just below the soft/squeaky area. Hour later all was better with no further issues.

On my 3895 there seemed to have a soft spot. So 1 day I was working on the generator an my wife was inside could see the plywood floor flexing up and down. I took a piece of trex and it fit perfectly between the fraim rails and supported the plywood.

I am pretty sure I would get punched in the face if I told my wife I fixed the floor due to seeing it flex as she walked across it....
Thanks for the info. It seems as though the squeak is above the section of basement that has a "false" ceiling... Wife stopped mentioning it, so I do not bring it up.
