Mystery Tool
Does anyone know what the flexible extension tool is for? It's silver and about a quarter inch in diameter and it has a 6 point male end on one side and a 6 point socket on the other. It came with my voltage with all of the documents. I took a picture but I can't figure out how to upload it.

These guys are prety tough here so if there are no pictures it isn't real and it didn't happen.
If you scroll way down on the reply page you'll see a prompt that says 'manage attachements', click on that and you can upload your picture there.
Also, tell us what kind of Voltage you have, that might help identify the thing.

Sounds like the tool to lower your spare tire. Pretty sure about this.

Haha, I was going to tell him it was a muffler bearing adjuster for the generator.

I have one too! I was told it was to manually operate in my front slide. Apparently you have to get access to the motor put the tool in a drill and you can operate the slide. I do know that it will not work with the large slide my trailer, just the smaller front slide. The motor is located on the top of the slide in the box in the picture. Though I have never opened it to try it out.

Strange looking critter, looks almost like a flexible extension socket. Don't think it would do a spare tire, mine is a long crank handle similar to Model A's. Some of you will remember those I bet.

That looks like the tool that came with my Torque TH to manually operate the cable slide motor located on top of the slide as in eric's pic. Never had to use it.

Sorry OP, Couldn't resist...... but I do not know what that flimsy tool would be for, Heck, I am still trying to get the handle to lower my spare should I ever need to...

It looks like a flexible bit for a drill. Did you purchase the unit second hand? Perhaps the previous owner left it in the camper?

As others have said, we got one during our PDI...it is a drill extension to manually open a cable slide. The motor is above the slide behind the crown molding. Stand on a stool, remove the crown molding and use the drill with extension.
Sounds like so much fun.

I finally got it from my dealer, they had to order it (or stole it from another RV ) as it was missing during my PDI.
