Is it just mine or are the propane tanks a pain to change
I've had quit a few RVs over the years. Nine but who's counting. Oh and one living quarters horse trailer. All had propane tanks some where easy others were a little more difficult to change. Any way the propane tanks on my Voltage are a ROYAL pain to remove & reinstall. Only has about 1" of clearance at the top. I have to pull the bottom out first. As its empty that's not a big problem. Once full as the top has to go in first there is nothing to hold on to. Why didn't they install the mount that the tank sits on a couple of inches lower.
So is it just mine or are others in the same boat.

Lots of tank room in my 3800. Enough room to get my hand up there to connect/disconnect the ACME nut.

My 3805 is tight also. I can't my meat hook hands in there to undo the acme nut. Also have come out bottom first. This is my 5th RV, and by far the worst to get the bottles changed. I added a quick-connect for my 100 pounder which I use on longer trips and hunting season.

Guess it depends on the model. My 3600 has lots of room for the tanks.

Yeah, no issues with my 3200 either. Something to check if/when I trade this one in on a different model.

Interesting that some are like mine & others have room. My Teton has the best set-up as both tanks are on the same side & are on a slide out.

This may be hijacking the thread somewhat... but has anyone found a way to put a 'bottom' into that area, so it could also be used to store items under the tank? Some type of shelf or web-type basket there would be nice, instead of just open-air space below the shelf the tank sits on.

I cannot remember if it is in the mods thread or on another forum, but someone did just that....they keep their sewer fittings and other fluids in that place...it is something hat is on my long list of things to accomplish.
Found it...look at post #98

Whatever is used it can not be a solid floor that will enclose the compartment.
The wire basket is a great idea. No problems there.

Bought a couple "right sized" wire baskets found in the kitchen storage section at Lowes. Slid them in and tie wrapped them to nearby brace for security. Works like a champ for light weight item storage.

Just thought I'd snap a photo of the driver's side Propane Tank area on my 3200. The curb side is nearly identical. As you can see, there's plenty of room above for easy access to the ACME nut & lines. If anything, I kinda wish I had a little bit more room below for when I end up doing that basket mod.

Enough room on my POS 3750 although the regulator burst and drained our tanks last month.

same on my 3970. I have one side where they have the mount welded higher than the other and crooked. I plan on cutting them off and lowering them so both sides are even and to allow the option for a 40 gallon tank. the more I look over my new purchase the more disgusted I get when I see the poor quality.

Sorry to hear you are having that many issues. I do like the 40 pound tank idea...
