The question is, can you handle this problem? Do you have the tools or knowledge or a place to work? Or better yet, is it not time to take the RV back to the dealer and let them waste time and energy on a manufacture's screw up?

Sundancer makes a great point. There is something probably in the tank not letting the air out and backing up in the shower. It's definitely going to be something that the dealer needs to address. Might as well make an appointment and get it done. hopefully you won't need to wait long .
Good Luck!

Wildwest450 has his money on it being a problematic foo-foo valve. My money is on a capped vent stack or a vent that was never installed or a defective under the sink vent valve, if it has one.
What say ye Frank?

not sure about the foo-foo valve but something is not letting the air out of the tank. When I got my RV, they left a piece of plastic covering the air vent of the fresh water tank so I couldn't put water in it. Because I'm curious about such things, I would still buy the camera-but that's me.

It is an interesting problem, one of which I can't recall ever seeing here. All the best to Andreamanor in getting it resolved quickly.

Good lord, at least pull the access panel and take a pic of what trap it is. Really sounds like one of those diaphragm foo foo traps, if it got rolled up it will trap water, if you plunge it it will force some out then reseal itself. They call me the Smellock Holmes of plumbing

If it is still under warranty have the dealer fix it.

For an appointment, then 6 weeks for them to look at it, six weeks to remember to order parts, but only 5.5 weeks for the parts to arrive, 6 weeks to schedule the repair, and 6 weeks for Dutchmen to pay dealer so they will release it to you, and after 6 weeks the dealer wonders why you haven't picked up your RV (because they never notified you it was ready!).
Yep, just 6 weeks
My vote is the fu fu valve, mine is acting up on my shower also.

I checked and there is a P-trap under the shower. I have no desire to try to get the dealer to do anything with this. I am unhappy with the kind of delay and turnaround you must experience with service.

It probably would not back up unless you had a P trap. buy the camera but you will probably need to take it to the dealer to get whatever is in the tank cleaned out or fixed.

You probably have a freezless p trap installed horizontally. It may be malfunctioning.
Similar to this.

I have no issues with tackling electrical issues (to a point), but plumbing problems of any kind, home or RV, send me running for the hills screaming like a little girl the entire way.

This is optional. So put on a pair of overalls and enjoy,
