Black tank valve &a cable.

My cable broke to the main black tank on my 2014 3950 Voltage.
1st is it difficult to change?
2nd how long is the cable?

Well, you'll have to remove a portion of the underbelly cover to have access to the valve and cable.
The cable length is what it is. Yours probably broke because it was too long from the factory.

Take a measurement from the valve and the handle mounting point and see if you can't find a good fit.

But, your valve may not have a removable cable, in which case it's a new valve and cable assembly.

Not difficult to change at all. Need access to the rear of the wet closet and you will have to drop the belly material or cut a square access hole in the material as I did. Length I cannot recall except that it is way too long. Well worth installing two valterra electric valves at this point. I did mine last spring in a matter of about an hour and half last spring on same rig.

Grey and Black Tank Valve Locations on 3950

Hoping to connect with someone here that can give me somewhat of an approximate or exact location to cut the under belly to replace the valves. Plan on replacing both with the valterra electric valves. Appreciate any advise I can get, thanks and Merry Xmas. Bob
