Back up observation camera

I have a 2016 282dbhs I want to install a camera on the back. I was wondering my marker lights that are on the back center are about a foot down from top of roof should I install the camera above or below the market lights? I figured if I went above the marker lights might effect camera.

I installed my camera below the lights and ran the power wire into the center light. When I want to power the camera I turn on the lights.

My camera came from the factory mounted above the lights. Haven't had any issues with it.
