Modification to RV dome light?

Has anyone wired a pull switch into their ceiling dome light? If you have can you share how you did it?

We have a double light, single switch dome light in the bedroom over the bed which is very difficult to reach. I thought a pull switch would allow easier access.

Any suggestions???

you might be able to rig something up with one of these. You could leave the switch on the light on and use this instead.

Yes that is the type of switch I'm looking at using. I'm wondering if anyone has done it.

I used a pull switch for the vent fan in the bathroom, made it much easier to turn the fan on and off. It is in the mods section of the forum..You can get pull switches in any hardware store or electrical dept.
