Washer/Dryer prep
My Voltage 3600 has washer/dryer prep in the middle of the garage, but where does the dryer vent it's hot air? The only vents in the garage are the roof vent/fan, and the two side hingeless fume vents.

New washers don't use vents any more. Some how it vents out the drain hose. I was thinking to save money I'd get a older style & just let it vent into the garage. Have seen quite a few nice used just a couple of times unit for 1/2 the price of a new one.

I had a Splendide Vent-less washer dryer in a previous unit. It Sucked. Don't know about the new units but I would seriously check into it. Go over the the Escapees forum and look around. Google it.

We have an older Splendide in our Infinity. It is the vented type. I just did a Google search on Splendide and it appears they still sell the vented version. We have been very pleased with ours. It only handles a small load and takes a while (70 min usually) to dry but it works. The scariest part was drilling a 4 inch whole in the side of the trailer!
Good luck with your search.
Regards,
Steve

We have a Splendide vented out the side and we love it. We are full time and wash nearly every day.

My V3605 like Sincure's 3600 has the washer prep in the middle of the garage. That means no vent out the side wall.

I'm also thinking I could vent it down through the floor.

I would like to figure out a way to vent out of the side 2-way vents. I could attach the dryer exhaust to the vent while using, and put it away after. Does anyone know if any sort of attachment exists for those vents?

I doubt if there is anything like that out there but it wouldn't be hard or expensive to have a transition fabricated by a talented tin bender that would work.
I see a 11x6 inch transition with a three inch fitting for the exhaust hose. A 1/2 or 3/4 inch flange all around for a sealing surface and mounting purposes.
You could remove the plastic collar that surrounds the OEM vent and install four or so flat head screws from the back side. Fasten them in place with nuts and use them for quick connect for the transition with wing nuts. Reinstall the plastic collar and slip the transition over the protruding screws, tighten wing nuts and you have your removable dryer vent.
Use a thick weather seal on the back of the transition that will cover the nuts and make a seal between the two materials.

I installed my stackable washer and dryer in the garage. I drilled a 4" hole in the floor and vented it under the trailer. Works great!!!

To you have pictures and details? Im a little worried about cutting a hole in my floor I was actually just going to raise one of the couches and put the dryer in the back corner of the garage and vent out 2way fume vent but this sounds alot better.

Used mine on vacation this year and just let it vent into the garage area. I installed one of the close 90 degree vents & aimed it to the side. Worked fine for us.

I will try and get some pictures Wednesday when it stops raining. we are having heavy rain and flash floods now. The only issue I had in cutting the hole was measureing to make sure you miss the two steel beams that are within 8 inches of the wall. I will get you more details after the rain

The space under the floor of the V3600, where the washer/drier goes, is empty space. I had to go under there when I mounted a tire chock for my motorcycle and needed to know where my screws were going. Mounting a vent through the floor will work.

I just had a combo unit installed in my 3950 but the space buts up against the exterior wall. I had a vented unit installed because there was a lot of negative reviews of the non-vented units. The installer did a very professional job including installing an emergency leak tray and hose incase it springs a leak. Have not used it yet.

Use your web browser, Internet Explorer, Chrome, ect., to log on to your account here. Just do an attachment to this post from your phone.
It might be a little slow uploading the pix due to so many variables but it'll happen.
