Are any of you over-weight?
Not you personally, but your toy haulers? I am finding it extremely difficult to get my Voltage 3905 loaded with what I consider a minimum of the "Stuff I Need" to do a month long trip or longer.
My main toy in the garage is an RZR XP900. The factory dry weight is 1190 lbs. So with it fueled up and accessorized 1450 lbs would be my guess. I took it to the CAT scales to check it but it didn't weigh enough to register on the scales.
To get on with my story. Leaving on vacation last year I was 28,360 lbs. gross weight. The re-weigh had my trailer at 19,340 lbs. or 340 pounds over the tag limits.
Oh, and this is bugging me. I have three 7,000 lb axles and a 19,000 lb rating. The Voltage 3818 is two feet longer, has the same axles and has a 20,000 lb rating.
On our return home I had acquired more "Stuff" and my gross weight was 29,620 lbs. I did have a little more water on board but really. I was only 880 lbs from being over my truck CGVWR of 30,500 lbs. My holding tanks were empty.
Thanks
Arlan
