I have a post on here somewhere regarding the much heavier D-rings I installed to tie down my Polaris General.

Ya I've been putting my rock crawler in toy haulers for yrs, I just saw this post & thought I'd ask Mister Gear if he had proceeded! I've got a good plan to add some extra support to the door & yes the tie downs in the garage seem to be fitting for my Mountain Bike, so they will be upgraded too! I'll look for your thread Pirate! Thanks

I haven't gotten to weight it with the jeep in it yet, but when all he crap is out of the way the front axle of the jeep will be all but centered over the middle axle of the trailer! I weighted the truck/trailer on my last camp trip, only had my dirt bike, beer coolers in the garage & full of h2o, IO had 8500 lbs on the rear axle of my truck & 14,000 lbs on the trailer axles so if I pull a little weight off my truck that wont hurt my feelings as I really don't want to go buy a new dually at the moment!

I'm with you on the Sports Truck Rich. Wife would kill me. She doesn't like to drive the dually now!

Ya I've been looking at toters, but at that point I think I'd rather just sale the trailer & move into a semi/motorhome with a stacker! I used 3x3/8's" angle aluminum with 12x3/8's" aluminum sheet welded to it then bolted around the perimeter of the door! the door flexed about 1.5" when the front axle of the jeep went in, which isn't bad considering my front tires are full of water!

Added the E track yesterday! Next project is to mount the tool box to the front bed lift so it can be lifted out of the way and pull the jeep another 20" forward!

Wow, its been a minute since I have been in this forum. Just blaming life/work/fam on my time away. Anyhow, as to an update, I have not loaded my jeep into the Voltage, as I just havent had a need to take it anywhere, and it has been sitting. I do believe it can handle it though, and appreciate the pics some have sent showing their jeeps inside, as well as all the other comments.
I do load my sand rail often, and it prob weighs about 2500lbs, with no problem whatsoever. I will be adding etrack as others have shown, and already have it in my flatbed, & love it. The cheap d-rings in my voltage are mostly bent from so much use, though have not yet failed. I do wonder what size screws those who have added e-track have used, and did you use sealent on them before screwing them down?

I ran the outside of the e track inline of the original d rings, which is the inner rail of the frame I beam, I used the d ring self tappers where they lined up & 1/4" lag bolts every where else, 2.5" on the outside into the frame, 1.25" on the inside, pre drilled all holes, I skipped 2 holes of e track between bolts, I didn't use any sealant as neither did Dutchmen on the d rings!

Sweet toolbox mount on the happyjack. I have a mini fridge for beer right in that corner mounted under the cabs. Plenty of room for a tool box still. Adding to the list.
