And so begins the warranty adventure
Well, after the first season of using our Voltage I am taking it in for a list warranty issues - all but three are very minor. I fixed several items on my own and the service manager seemed interested in that list as well. Wish me luck!

So what are the 3 big ones? Mine took 7 months when it went in for slides. Were you able to take it to the original dealer or are you subbed out to CW? Good luck, I really hope you have a good experience.

Seven months??? Gads and I thought 21 days was way too long!!
I'm getting ready for another effort...some are "customer pay"...
But I've got my parts list together...and when they have all the parts...and can show them to me...I'll take it in!
I'm also going to try...give me a date that I can bring my trailer in and you work on it that day and I'll stay in town until done....
I don't know if that's going to work...but I'm going to try.
And I'm going to consider that the rest of the warranty and the extended warranty are just for appliances and slides...everything else I'll bite the bullet and do myself!!

21 days, hell, I'd live in my truck that long if that's all it took.
My dealer might get the correct slide parts next week. Last month's parts were wrong. Four weeks turn around, outstanding!!!!

I wish you luck, just made an appointment for mine today as well. Mostly minor, one possible major problem. Wish you the best man.

Apparently Dutchman has come to the conclusion the ****tek system doesn't work well with the larger slides giving the fact they are going with juice slides now on the big slides.
It would be nice if we guinea pigs received some sort of compensation for our field testing of the inadequate system. Maybe a retro fit to the juice system or extended support and warranty.
Dutchman agreed to cut me a check for 200 bucks because I'm out of my full time rig because of slide repairs (second time within five months and 60 miles of travel). Check came in at a huge 165 bucks for relocation for 60 days, so far. Does anyone really live on $2.75 per day?
C'mon tornado, I want this financial burden and mistake out of my life. At one time I was hopeful that I would be able to tow my toy hauler all over the nation but now I feel I'll be lucky if I'll be able to get it back from the dealer and extend the slides more than four times.

I have only ever had one issue with a slide and the error code was short circuit in motor one. I was able to override it and close the slide. But I think it was caused by the leading edge of slide frame pulling away from the wall when the slide was closed (major issue #1) allowing water to enter. #2 was a wheel stud that had broken off on one of our trips and the third was the wonderful EPA charcoal canister on the toy gas tank leaks gas out of the rubber hoes that looks like it should only be a vent. There were several minor issues, but the service advisor seemed interested in the list as I also provided a list of items I fixed along the way and was very interested in how I fixed the level up system when it was discovered it would level - simple fix - the electrical connectors on the right/left solenoids were reversed.
Also, ended up going to the local General RV on the recommendation of a camping club friend of mine who dealt with this particular service advisor and was very happy with the attention he received in getting his issues resolved on his MH. I generaly will shun General RV, but this friend is very particular about his rig and he was very satisfied. The original dealer was a long trip away but I would have considered them if they had even paid any attention or seemed intersted in resolving issues - when I emailed, I never received an answer or even an acknowledgment of receiving the email - when I called, no questions could be answered without "we'll probably just have to warranty that out".

Got a phone call from my service writer at General RV Wednesday (I would have never gone to General RV if it weren't for the personal recommendation of a trusted friend). So far an overall decent experience. Everything will be covered under warranty (I had a pretty extensive list). Most repairs had already been made and parts were placed on order that day. There are two items she tells me that I will have to go to the manufacturer for as they do not possess the capability to make the repairs. One is the charcoal EPA cannister leaks gas and the other is the generator gas tank fuel level gage does not work. I can drop the gas tanks in my driveway pretty easily, just not sure how parts needed would go under warranty for that. I sent an email to Keystone Customer Relations per another thread on the forum and am waiting to hear back from Lori. I see no issue removing the cannister and bypassing it, but the gage could be something as easy as the sending unit disconnected, or is could be bad wiring, etc. So will see what she says.

Don - our generator fuel gage did not register either - I was told that the fuel dispenser had to be running for it to do so.....guess what - they were right!
Once I turned on the fuel dispenser - it read the fuel level.

Nana & Poppy - I believe you are are referring to the gage on the outside of the rig for the pump tank which you are 100% correct. My issue lies with the gage on the control panel on the interior for the generator gas tank near the water level gages.

I don't have anything interior for the gen gas tank and you are right I was referring to the outside gauge.

Don, I was going to wait till my findings to post, but you are in the warranty stuff now. We both have the 2014 year. I am on the warranty train myself right now. Front cap. Right side where the side transitions to the front. I have what appears to be a crack. It can be seen under the paint almost to the top. Barely noticeable unless it actually does something to paint. Since you are on warranty way just wanted to make you aware and do a close inspection. As of right now it is a casting issue of the nose. This is the area. Sorry it's a night pic but you get the idea. Oh and sideways

It's a good day! I'm sitting in my camper after bailing it out of the dealer's shop since August.
They completely removed the slide out and replaced both end's tracks and new motors. Six months ago they only changed one end's tracks and motors by hyper-extending the slide. This time the entire box came out to make the repairs.
They do a good job there in Tulsa so the proof is in the pudding, Schwintek's.
Same looking tracks as always but his time it has a Schwintek sticker on it, that has to make it better, maybe even the bestest!

War path?? Sitting here in the middle of the Cherokee Nation, nah, not me.
Regrets, hardly any, things undone, only two things I want to do before it 's all over.
Time will tell, time will tell

Received an update call from the service writer this morning - waiting for the remainder of the parts now. I will stop in there this week and do a face-to-face to see what the ETA's might be...
