Watch out for hidden wires.

I am new to rv's. I bought a 96 Aerolite 23' 5er. I needed to mount something under the TV shelf above the dinette. I didn't know there was a cluster of wires inside the shelf and I screwed a screw into the 120v and almost set the rv on fire. There are also wires running through the cabinets so be careful. I am guessing that they avoided running wires through the walls and came up with the clever idea of hiding them in other places??

Yea, there is stuff buried everywhere in a trailer. I use a stud sensor and an electricity sensor prior to going through any surface.
Glad you didn't get hurt!
Welcome to the forum BTW.

Yeah, good idea. I'll get the sensors.
