[emoji38] sorry 'bout that. Generally I can control myself...but then sometimes I think, "what the hell..."!

Well the MORRyde Steps arrived late yesterday. Made my coffee, watched a few YouTube videos on the installation. It really is an easy install, took about 30 minutes. We love them already! Very solid and easy to drop down and put away. Be sure you read the “pre-qualification” on the website. But for the 213, it was easy sailing! Later on today I will remove the old steps.

As you can see in my photos, my driveway is angled so I have around 4” of blocking. That makes you drop the “extensions” out of the bottom of my steps which makes the steps stick out further.
So right now as pictures it’s 34” from the side of the camper to the front edge of the extensions, but if your door side is down on the ground with no “blocking” it’s around 30-31”.

That looks pretty amazing, think I will consider it. By the way, how do you like those levelers. I have a set but have not had the opportunity to use them yet.

They are definitely worth the $$. We like the Andersen Levelers. We also have the Level Mate Pro too, just set the levelers and back up until you see on your phone that its lever side to side. Sweet set up, don't even break a sweat.

Cool steps, but i'm not sold on the fold up into the camper thing, i'm always in there even when it's parked at home. I call these moresetuptime steps.

Door has arrived
We just returned from a 4 day camping trip at Mistletoe State Park in GA. We had a great time! The new shower door has arrived! After unloading I got excited and removed the old shower door and BOOM! There must be 2-3 tubes of silicone used to seal the old shower door. Does anyone have any tricks to remove silicone? I have been using a steel putty knife very carefully, but this is going to take a while
FYI to take out the old door kit you will need a Phillips and SQ1 drive bit.
One of these days I will be able to put in the new door.

Sometimes a razor blade works well to get it started and you can pull it off. Silicone removal requires a lot of patience and cussing. That bathroom looks familiar I work tonight so try to have it done by 6:30pm central time so I can see the finished product

You might want to tape off either side of the caulk line. That will hold the Goo Gone against the caulk and protect the surface should you run into any stubborn caulk.
Find the thinnest putty knife you can find, the thinner the better. Razor blade work but they will dig in because they are so sharp.
Let that Goo Gone sit overnight so it can work for you.
Silicone, you didn't say that word did you? In your RV too!

Door is installed!
Well it took a heck of a lot longer prepping than to install the door. I have about 3+ hours removing the old shower door and cleaning off the old silicone. Goo gone Caulk remover helps a lot but still requires a lot of elbow grease and a thin dull metal scraper and plastic scrapper.
The door went up easy peasy! Took about 40 minutes to install. I will caulk it in over the next few evenings. We like it already, the ole 213 bathroom just got a heck of a lot bigger and getting in and out of the shower will be a breeze! .
Sorry, I took a video but it won’t let me post it.

I think it looks good, but it's hard to tell sideways.

Yep, sorry don't know why this forum sometimes rotates the photos. When I look at them on my iPhone, Mac, or work PC they are correct......Or is it the nut behind the keyboard?
