I removed the w/H bypass valve to check it and it's good. I'm not sure if I'm not doing the winterizing correctly or a previous owner has changed something in the routing of the lines but it allows...

W/H bypass valve not bypassing

My w/h bypass valve has a bad seal or is defective because when it is in bypass, anti freeze is still going into the water heater. Has anyone run into this before and what was the remedy?
