We use bottled water (gallon/5gl jugs) to fill the ice machine.

We also have an in-line water filter which does help clean the water coming into the trailer. It also doubles as a pressure reducer...

We have had one for over 6 years... never leave...

We have had one for over 6 years... never leave home without it as we go through a lot of ice. It's nice to have fresh ice and not having to purchase ice when we are packing up before returning...
