Not the T-stat I was envisioning. I was thinking going from an analogue to a digital.

This is typical, a "hole in the road" industry making an over priced "hole in the road"...

That is the best $25 mod you can do. It will keep the temperature swings down to +-1 degree. The furnace or A/C will cycle a little more, but run less over all.
