Slide out rollers

I own a 2007 Grand Junction 38 QSL that has a large, 2 refrigerator and table on the kitchen slide. The plastic ski on the slide is damaged and I am replacing it with a stainless steel slide. When I jacked up the slide and removed the old plastic ski I noticed there were no rollers to support the slide. Is this a common issue and should I add some rollers. Appreciate any helpful feedback please.

If you have a cable type slide, it usually doesn’t have rollers.
