Goodyear Endurance® (Trailer Tire)
Saw this in Trailer Life latest issue. Made in USA. rated to run up to 80 mph. Could have used these last trip as we came home on us 95 from Utah to Nevada. Kind of slow going 65 mph. Anyway for your information. Appears to be a good alternative to any of the china bombs. Did not compare to Maxxi tires. They are ST tires for our TT's.

I forget where I saw the article (not the same one you saw) regarding the tires, but it's nice to know that "Made in the USA" tires can now be purchased!! I plan to get new tires for my TT next year.

I just read the announcement for these tires here: https://corporate.goodyear.com/en-US...iler_tire.html
Finally!
BTW these carry an "N" speed rating. I don't think I would want to tow my trailer at that speed but it's nice to know I could if I had these.
Oh, and very affordable too.

Have to check my wheels to see what they are rated for in tire pressure. Which I can do next time the trailer is home. The 205/75-14 are 65 pound max in tire pressure according to the tire rack specs.

I have the metal valve stems as have tpms on them. But still need to make sure the wheels will take the 65 psi for tires.

Missed it. Called today Aug 2nd and the rebate was up at the end of July, three days ago.

Looked at the spare wheel. rated for 1870 load no mention of psi max. Took a look a wheel on etrailer and sent them a question about psi max. Seems 14in wheels are for either 50 or 65 pounds. But they did mention that the valve stem is the critical part and it must be rated for the 65 psi. So next step is get a set of these before our next trip.

On my way back from BOONE NC yesterday, one of the factory tires exploded (2016 Denali with less than 700 miles) outside of Columbia SC. fortunately, i was close to a Pilot which had a Davenport Wrecker service operating out of there. Charged me $45.00 (plus $10.00 tip) to come out to interstate 77 and change it for me.
Anyone have any recommendations, I think I need to change all 4!

A couple of things, I am a firm believer in getting the trailer weighed so you know exactly how heavy it is. (Most moving companies have scales and will weigh for a small cost). Then you will know that your tires are right for the load. Also with trailer tires they need to be inflated to maximum pressure all the time.
I did go ahead and change my trailer tires for the Goodyear's. Mine were about three years old and did run them over 9,000 miles with no problem. My trailer is no where near my maximum weight. Also mine is stored indoors which probably helps the tires a lot from sun aging. I also use the Tire Trackr TT 500 tire pressure monitor. It will let you know is tire has a leak or is under inflated. Also senses the temperature of the tires. Hope this helps some.

Glad you're okay! I'd definitely do all 4. The new china bombs on my previous Forest River only lasted one season and I switched to Hankooks. I really like my Goodyears and wouldn't buy anything else now.

an update... I found the "assembler" of the tires I have on my RV is a company called LIONSHEAD TIRE AND WHEEL. They have three locations here in the US where they ASSEMBLE the tires to their wheels. This is what I got from them concerning warranting the tire:
Good morning Frank,
The LionsHead warranty period on your tires is one year from the retail date of purchase, if you are within the warranty period, please fill out the attached warranty claim form completely and return with required photos so that we may review your request for warranty coverage.
Sincerely,
lionsheadtireandwheel.com
Look at their nitrogen section
Nitrogen
Says it includes 24-hour roadside assistance but doesn't say from who or give a phone number!
All marketing!
just an FYI. I filed a complaint with the NHTSA... wonder what that will do ?
