Outside work/security lights
By chance, do any of you know what bulbs are needed for these lights? Most of mine are burnt out and I need to get some more.
Thanks,
Eric

Easiest thing to do is just take one out & match it up.
Would help if you put what year & model of RV you have.

Good point DesertRat,
I have a 2014 3905. I figured if no one here replaced theirs that's what I would have to do.

So I went out and took a look. All the lights that didn't work, the bulbs were good. I took them out and saw a little light. I put some back in and they worked, others I had to tap a bit. One in particular was pretty feisty, I going to see about replacing that one. I guess these are just junky fixtures??

Eric,
I'd take one bulb, sit down at the computer, go to superbrightleds.com and find an LED bulb that replaces the incandescent bulb.
Perhaps a bit of dielectric grease on the bulb contacts...end of issue.
Just a thought,
Pirate

The oval lights are nice, but I think the led panel in the rectangle light is about 3x3 vs a bulb style and is pretty bright.
I will install today and post

I installed two of the LED MG-1000's porch lights today with the 450 bulbs. I attached the link below.
Dutchmen sucks big time, I pad for full paint package on my 3950 voltage , but the factory did not paint behind the exterior light fixtures. They only primed this area. So beware on the drivers side, or the front passenger side of the Fifth Wheel that you can not use any fixture that is less that 12" across other wise it will not cover over the primed area below the old fixture.
These lights are one of the best mods I have done so far. The units operate as a traditional porch light if your turn the power switch on once. Turn the power switch off and on again and they are motion sensor lights!
The photos were from this evening, I was amazed at how much additional light there was. You can see the interior incandescent light temperatures in the windows.
Install was pretty easy if you are handy, if not better get a tech to handle for you.

Here are a couple of photos of where they did not paint behind the exterior fixtures. The two large ones on the rear, and larger lights on the drivers and passenger side are the ones that made me mad, because you basically need a fixture 12 inches wide.
It is not so bad on the smaller ones, there are plenty of fixtures available that will cover up the unpainted section.
Today is an overcast day, but in the sunlight there is a huge contrast!
I used some water proof tape to cover the hole where the wiring exits the RV, then put a little packing tape as an umbrella, as I am awaiting a replacement fixture because the factory one was melted..

more pics, these are the other lights that are large size. I was actually converting these to LED bulbs prior to finding the melted one. The bulbs do not even come close to the porch lights. No comparison at all, none..

Yes they are about an inch larger on the width and about, an inch on the height as well.
