Kodiak 214 fresh water system components

Hello all,

Brand new member and I just bought this 2009 Kodiak 214 without any info from the previous owner.
Hopefully someone can help identify some of these components and their proper use.


I have these three ports on the filling side.



I seem to have three ports for draining the system. although the fresh water tank itself appears to have two ports….



Finally what is this cylinder thing?
