Figured it out. The tip of the water valve broke so it wasn't engaging and the broken piece wasn't allowing the pedal to work smoothly. Next step will be finding out if I can get upgraded from that...

My Aspen Trail TT (1700BH) came back from a trip (someone was borrowing it) and the toilet (Dometic 300) no longer pumps water into the bowl when you push the pedal down slightly.
