I do bypass the HWT. It is a 38 1/2 foot park model. and it is a long run from pump to front sink. I could use a bit less, but why skimp on a few dollars. Im sure on the 28" i will use about 3.

Thanks for the info, I was pretty sure I had the right idea, but always good to get extra opinions. 1 more camping weekend in late October, then I can get it ready for our brutal Michigan winter....

I have a 2003 Dutchman 26qb. First time winterizing this unit. The
Picture shows the water pump, I assume that right after the pump and the valve that says Suction Side is where i would install...
