I use the same Twist-ON valves on all of my drains, from day one and haven't had any surprises and don't have to worry about the main valves not closing all the way. Low cost and good Ins.

I have the Valtera add on valves on all my drain...

I have the Valtera add on valves on all my drain pipes, its extra Ins. and they don't cost very much. I don't get any surprises
