There ya go! I pulled mine off and put caulk in the holes.:lol: IIRC if you unscrew the shower head from the hose it will fit through the loop and you can then ignore it.

I use the original, plan on getting a better quality hose while you are at it. The stock one from Oxygenics leaves a lot to be desired. I use these from Amazon...
