Question New shower head

Stock equipment sucks ... popular consensus is Oxygenics. Oxygenics are currently on sale at Camping World.

Of course there's the standard Body Spa that's been around for years and years.
BodySpa RV Shower Kit - White - Oxygenics 26781 - Shower - Camping World

But then there's the Fury that's 'fairly' new.
Fury Handheld Shower, White - Oxygenics 92781 - Shower - Camping World

I'm familiar with the "Navy shower" ... no issues with that. But I also have thick waist length hair.

Opinions?

Personally, I use a standard adjustable Water Pik shower head, just like I used in my house.

Another change we made in our shower, was to get ride of the faucet and put a quarter turn faucet. So much easier to adjust the temp and wastes a whole lot less water. Also changed head for less and better flow. Was not one of the oxygenics one.

We have the oxygenics original (first one) and really like it.
Much better than the stock one.

Thanks folks. I think I'll pull the trigger on the Fury and see what it's like.

I use the original, plan on getting a better quality hose while you are at it. The stock one from Oxygenics leaves a lot to be desired. I use these from Amazon.

Thanks Aaron. I'm currently "ok" with the current hose. Annoyed by the loop that holds it in place though (not the mount that holds the head, the seemingly worthless loop that keeps me from easily moving the hose around.) I'd like to remove it, but worried about how it's installed (tape? screws?) and invisibly patching any possible resulting holes. I tried just taking the hose out of the loop, but the loop doesn't let the hose hang down naturally.

If this is what I'm complaining about ... I think that's a sign that things are pretty good!

I cut a about 1/4 inch gap in the loop so it pops out when needed.
If this is the same loop we are talking about.

Genius. Pure genius. Yes, same loop.

Thank you!

There ya go! I pulled mine off and put caulk in the holes. IIRC if you unscrew the shower head from the hose it will fit through the loop and you can then ignore it.

Out of holder when using, in holder when not using or traveling

They mounted that loop too close to the handle to have it out while using. It won't hang right if it doesn't go through the loop. :-/

Does anyone know how this turned out? Did they ever purchase the oxygenics show head? Did they like it?

Yes, I ultimately bought the Oxygenics Fury and really like it. I will cycle through a couple of the settings each shower. The original Oxygenics setting to initially get my hair soaked, then rinsed, but I prefer other settings for full body rinse. I took off the offending hose loop and plugged the screw hole (with the mounting screw and some putty). I'll try to remember to get a pic this weekend of the install.

Great! Thanks for the info. I replaced the OLD shower head with a commercially available one but still, heard the Oxygenics was immensely better. I also replaced the shower loop with a shower head holder so the little woman could be able to shave her legs and not hold onto the shower head. Also got a teak seat for the shower. again, thanks for the info and I look forward to your pics...

If I would've saved the holder I may have done just that!
