I recently bought a 2005 Colorado that is in pristine condition. The original owners gave me all manuals and paperwork they had since they bought it. I find it hard to believe that in a 309 page manual they tell you nothing about the holding tanks. Not how to use them, about what valves are what or about how to flush. Seems like this would be improtant.
The factory manual in my opinion is useless, answers nothing important. Reminds me of a BHO answer to a question, whole lot of words with no substance.
I did read a TT owners manual on line once the was full of detailed instructions on how to use a specific model and advice on how to use various equipment. I was amazed as no other TT manual came close.
I don't remember the brand. It may have been an Oliver or Escape. Both are Canadian built.

Old Airstream manuals were extremely detailed. Complete down to weight and balance information based on the various options. IIRC an 8 track tape deck added 1.5 #s to the tongue weight.
