When we got our first TT, this forum was a great source of info and advice in getting started RV'ing on the "right foot". There were always plenty of new interesting posts.
Where did everybody go??

Safe travels and all the best.

I could answer this in a few ways… most of which would probably get me kicked off the forum.

So with that in mind, I’ll just go with the safe answer: the calendar may say otherwise, but it’s still winter in many parts of the country.

"Dutchmen RV's" is a fairly limited topic. Most of the parts of a Dutchmen RV are common with most of hundreds of other brands of RV's. A similar site with a more general brand inclusion will get lots more support.

Maybe Dutchman has been building some really good RV's and no one has anything to complain about. :p

I’m also on jayco forum a lot of posts
Most Rvs are built by lippert, colemen,
Dometic Onan and a few other parts companies
It’s who assembled them that’s different.
I have noticed how posting numbers
On this site Have gone down.

They are at the forest river forum which is great. This forum has beer dead since I signed up in 2019, despite my best efforts to add life to it through posts

I have been/are a member of many different forums. RV, whitewater rafting, outdoor and ebike to name a few. I have come to the conclusion that the most questions on any forum come from newbs. This is not meant as an insult, just an observation. As the newbs gain knowledge and confidence their questions begin to taper off. The RV community saw a LARGE number of new members during covid and the interest, confusion and knowledge seeking went up exponentially. Now, two or three years later most newbs are far more experienced and need less advice, or they have decided RVing isn't for them, hence fewer posts. Unless one of us has to confront a very uncommon incident and needs advice we are left with little to discuss other than trip reports and mods. As for myself, when I started out six or seven years ago, I read the big three forums every day and got the email briefings every week. As I have progressed on my journey I find myself less interested in the forums and now only check them about once a week, or less. Just my $0.02.

I'd love to see this forum turn out to be a catch all for everyone. There are MANY folks here that have knowledge of YEARS and they can help. Everyone has the same heaters, AC units, soffy floors, etc. The customer service at Dutchmen sucks, we all know that and probably experienced it once or thrice... I may not be an expert in everything but between us, we can help in just about anything that comes up.

Right on Frank. I sold my Voltage 3990 5 years ago and bought a Forest River Riverstone, but I still hit this forum and pick up nuggets from guys like you all the time.
