Can anyone help me with locating the water pump on my 2003 Dutchmen Kodiak (by Thor). I am new to the trailer camping and when I bought this last month there was no paperwork for location of water pump. Water heats up real nice but only when I have the hose hooked up and on. Once I turn off the water hose then the water inside stops running, hence water pump.

Also no diagram for the fuse box layout. I cannot find this trailer online anywhere for information.

I have the 2003 Kodiak pictured above and can finally hear the pump but when I unhook the water hose after water flowing out of faucets I turn pump on to see if water still flows. I hear the pump running but am lost on why it won’t pump, water stops in the faucets. Anyone have any ideas?

have you pulled drawers and opened panels by the sink to trace water lines as far as possible?

I would expect the pump to be located by the fresh water tank fill port.

For it not working, have you tried all valves?

There could be a shutoff valve installed. Sometimes a check valve in the water pump goes bad so instead of changing the water pump or fixing a valve, a shutoff could be placed between the tank and pump.

Do you have water in your fresh tank? Did you purposely fill the fresh tank or did it fill when you were hooking up the water? If so, u probably have a bad check valve and most likely a bad pump. Also, the water pump has to be purposely switched on at the control panel.
