Local, you have been here long enough to know that this ducts are not sealed very well and they leak air like crazy! They make a product that directs as much air as possible to the ductwork and improves the efficiency but if the ductwork to the vent is crappy, it’s less effective. The other issue with this product is that you can no longer open the vents on the AC in order to cool down quicker.

You can also make your own for about 20 bucks.

I have all these materials for doing this but have not gotten to it yet. I have 3 AC’s on my RV and am looking to do this to just one…. This is also supposed to make them quieter, much quieter…

Also, in my RV all the vents are cross ducted so in my case both of my AC units push air to the same ducts, however the further the unit from the ducts the less you feel. My bedroom vents get some air flow from my living area AC but much more when both units are running. And the reverse is true for main living area vents. If that vent in your picture is far from the unit try turning on the other or both. Now if you only have one AC unit then refer back to Frankatfl's post!
