Venting a dryer in a Voltage 3305 garage?

We are picking up our new Voltage 3305 this weekend and the dealer is installing a Splendide Washer/Dryer vented combo unit. Because the hookups are on the center forward wall of the garage (between 2 doors to the main cabin), the dealer says the only method of venting is to go straight up through the roof. I told them that was not something I really wanted, so I am wondering how others have done it. Is there any way to vent this down through the floor or up and then horizontally out the side wall? I suspect I will be doing it myself.
I opted for the vented version rather than the ventless as reviews have suggested the ventless version is not a great performer.

I have a 3990, so mine goes out the side wall, but no way do you want any exhaust vent going up. Lint will build up on the moist walls of the exhaust tube and ultimately clog or worse, create a fire hazard. If you have no choice, make sure it's easily accessible for regular cleaning.

We have the same layout with our 3105, so went with a Splendie ventless model.

I went rogue....put a Kenmore gas dryer, converted to propane, in the garage and drilled a 4 inch hole in the wall. Problem solved and some great drying power.

We got a washer and dryer with our 3605 when we purchased and the hookups are in the garage as well. The dealer installed it and ran the vent though the floor. They cut a hole in the floor and in the plastic corrugated and put a vent outlet facing toward the rear. The washer and dryer are about 4-5 inches from the wall to allow for the vent. Seems to work great.

I see no problems with going through the bottom...unless you decide to stay put somewhere for a while and you enclose the bottom, you may (or will very likely) cause mold growth.

I would ensure the vent screen has holes small enough to keep critters from getting into the vent pipe, plus need to ensure it is kept clean of lint.

It works pretty good. Drying uses steam, so not as good as hot air. The instructions tell you that the clothes may feel damp when you first take them out and to shake them out. Seems to work. Full wash/dry cycle takes longer than a regular washer & dryer. Wife loves not having to trudge to the laundry, and go back and forth to move clothes from washer to dryer. She can put a load in, go to the beach or pool, and not have on worry about it.

I'm impressed how quiet the Splendie is. I work from the garage and its quiet enough not to interfere with phone calls.

Mine is also in the center wall of the garage. Door to 1/2 bath on one side & door to living on the other. It's the vented model & we just let it vent into the garage. Open the windows close the door to the living area. Works for us.
