I need to replace my thermostat and I’ve been told I could use any home thermostat I have 6 wires RH, RC, H, W, Y and G I’ve been told it can be done but wanted to make sure this is right.. how I would set up a new thermostat now I know some thermostats don’t have RC and was told not to run the RH or run the RH to R on the new thermostat but where could I put the RH? For instance here is a Honeywell model RTH2510 as an example.. I’ve also watched this video that was provided to make it pretty simple his wires are a little different but want to make sure I’m doing this right.. if any one is knowable on all this could someone give me some pointers!? Thank you on advance!

RC- Cooling (Power)
RH- Heat (Power)
H- Heat (Don’t Need)
G- Fan (Don’t Need)
W- Heat Control
Y- Cooling Control

Not an answer to our question exactly but I replaced my RV thermostat with one from a company called Micro Air and branded as Easy touch that allows you to connect via Bluetooth or wi-fi and access from your phone. It has been great and was a replacement for my Dometic. They make other replacement options as well for RV's if you want to take a look.
