Stuck Voltage Slide

I have a 2017 Dutchmen Voltage that we haven't had slide issues with before. We brought it in yesterday and tried to push it back out, but it does move besides the top going out again. When it does move it sounds like there's a slipping/grinding sound. Has anyone had a similar issue? Is it something I can take care of or do I need to bring it in to a tech?

Can you describe the slide out? Is it a wardrobe very 13 foot slide out?

I I replace the gearbox in my wardrobe slide out. It was clicking. I broke it when I closed it with the door open and the door hit the bed. That up the gearbox..

Slides have emergency cranks to take them in for travel in case something like this happens. Depending on what type of slide determines where the manual crank is…

You likely either have a broken motor and/or gearbox or your slide might be off the track. Is it a cable slide or a one that works on a track?

As the post above mentions there is typically a manual bypass that can use a hand crank or drill but without seeing it is hard to say.

My Voltage is a cable slide and my gearbox which has plastic gears lost some teeth and needed to be replaced. It was about the same price to replace the motor and gearbox as it was just to do the motor so I did that.

I had a mobile tech come out and replace the part and it wasn't hard for him at all but for a first timer there is a learning curve that might be difficult to overcome.
