Stuck bedroom slide

We recently purchased a used 2017 Voltage 3970...we purchased it with knowing that the control panel needed to replaced...I say that to say this...today my wife thought she was opening the back awning using the underbelly control panel switch but mistakenly moved and fully closed the bedroom slide and it will not open back up...I have read there is a way to manually open it back up but I cannot find out how to do so...we did not get an owner's manual and I did download one from the website, but it does not say how to do so...I am 3 hours away in another state working so I cannot be there to help her...any ideas since the dealer we purchased from says they cannot send anyone out due to short staff

There is supposed to be a way to reboot the control panels.

1) Press and hold the Power Button until the display gives you an option on screen to Power Off - press this. 2) Once the display is completely black, exit the vehicle and find the BCM. 3) Remove the cover of the BCM to expose the green board. 4) Press and hold the Reset button for 2 Seconds and let go.

There may also be an option for the system to “re learn” its points (which is exactly what they are doing above).

Our biggest issue is the control panel inside is bad...is this reset on the BCM on the green board? I am asking because I am in a different state for work and my wife is with the RV.

I understand that those control panels can “freeze”. Is it really bad or does it need to be reset? Does it come on?

It is what the service tech called the white screen of death...have a new one ordered but it is coming from China

Update...we got it out...I talked to the service manager at the place we bought it and he was very kind in telling me how to get it out...great news was no tools needed...just had to have someone inside the bedroom pushing out on the wall as my wife was pressing the button on the board...good to know in case that happens again for sure...thank you for your input
