Slide outs

Does anyone use supports for there slide outs when parked?:

Not here as the manufacturer stated that it would keep the seal from a perfect seal if used. I don't get it either as they sell slide out supports?

The way I see it is, if you support your slide-out from the ground and your jacks settle or the ground gets soft from rain and give way a little it would put your slide-out in an awful bind.

Never used a slide support.
