Sewer hose and attachments storage

This is the first upgrade to my 325 Denali.
I wanted to minimize the handling of sewage items for obvious reasons. I used a sewer PVC pipe and cut out a piece of the bottom so I can store the entire connected sewage hose and elbow. I have three sections of hose so I pull out and insert the elbow in the campground sewage inlet and then pull out only the hose I need. I use quick disconnects to hold the vented cap on. A vented cap is also on the other end and is permanently mounted. I also drilled lots of holes in the bottom of the pipe for drainage and ventilation.

DH likes this mod - he wants to put the a sewer hose storage on our TH....now he needs to see if there is a place he can place a mud flap before the storage tube.

TH is in storage and won't be back out until end of April - beginning of May!

Mud should not effect the storage tube.

DH is afraid of road debris - not just mud - rocks, gravel, other obstacles! And not so much for the tube but the sewer attachment which may take a hit!

Well, everyone has to do what makes them feel secure... but, just for reference, I've had 2 tubes hung under my rig behind the axles for over 2 years now, and (knock on wood) have never had an issue yet.

I've had them under my last two campers that lasted over 15 years with no problem. But mine were and are ahead of the axel.

The main difference this time is to use a 6 inch pipe and cut a place for the elbow so I don't have to connect and disconnect from the hose.
