Roof coating?

In reading the manual on our 2018 Aspen Trail this is what I saw:
"ALPHA TPO ROOF MATERIAL
The TPO roof will not rust or corrode and is very strong and durable. Other than periodic washing, the roof material
itself does not require maintenance or coatings. However, be advised that any attachments, seams or joints in the
rubber roof requires maintenance every 90 days. Alpha sealants must be used on a RV with the Alpha system. These
items can be obtained from your dealership."

So does this mean I should not coat this roof?

Not sure. I have a 2018 Voltage and about every year or so I use a "sealant" that is really more like a soapy wash and a long handled brush. I live in So. Cal and we don't get much rain but I keep it outside so the roof bakes all year long. I haven't had a leak yet and the roof looks in good shape. Something tells me the sealant doesn't do much but it takes less than an hour and allows me to make sure the roof doesn't have any issues.
