Removing wardrobe cabinets

Hi, we have a 2020 Kodiak 261RBSL. Wondering if anyone has ever removed the wardrobe cabinets on either side of the bed. We are looking to open it up and to gain more space around the bed. My main concern would be if removing the side wardrobes would affect the structural integrity of the overhead cabinets.

We left ours in but put in some pull out baskets from IKEA. We needed these for cloths. Sorry for the picture not vertical.
