Will be a first time owner of a 5th wheel. Anything I should pay specific attention to in the walkthrough?

Finally got the home set up, to have an RV, put in a parking strip earlier this year.. so I can store it in my fenced backyard.

Used to camp in a prowler trailer as a kid.. its been a long time coming..

I know just enough to know I don't know much :D

There are some great pre-delivery inspection check lists you can use in your walk through. Remember, you lose all your leverage to get things fixed once you take delivery. Make them fix it all first.

Also, do your homework on the hitch you go with and make sure it is right for your truck and trailer. You want to make sure your trailer is level or maybe a tad nose high but nothing more. You don’t want your trailer dragging on driveways which can happen if the back end is too low.

Thanks - I acquired my f350 from my dad, with a Reese R18 hitch that he used to tow his 5th wheel. Should be good to go there.. but I guess we will see.

Here are some of the pre-delivery inspection checklists: Good luck!
