new to the scene

Im new to the scene, picked up a 2017 coleman light 3035, liked the features.
some of the first things planned are rear view camera, rear hitch mount cargo carrier and a generator.

tow vehicle is a 2019 F 350,
rear camera ill just need to mount to work with my NAV TV setup

it should be a fun learning experience, and ill probally have questions along the way, as im just starting to get setup for future adventures.

i havent started yet, but im up in big bend area, workibg on building a shed
camper was available, and wanted to camp in future and travel., so i just picked it up.
planning on retiring next year, so this year trying to work towards it.

was thinking of doing a harvest host mini loop to start, but need a few more things, and get the trailer setup to my whims,
never ending projets now with work, house renovations,etc but it will happen. im open to suggestions for future destinations.

but ill start and see whats clowe to get started, i dont know status of cape san blas after hurricane, and other areas after hurricane michael..

so im still researching, and working towards that goal. as im a beginner to it. still need to look at various places, websites, and camping info. generator should be here in a week or so, id rather set up to boondock, as all bases covered that way, and if hookups avaikible that would be bonus but not required.

Make sure you look at your tires. Big issue!

As Floridians, we like to escape to the mountains. Our favorite spot is grandfather campground up in Boone. It’s pretty inexpensive and we use that as am jumping off spot for the states around North Carolina. It even inspired a new hobby-fly fishing.

ive spent a bit of time in highlands, but not in rv, have friends around that area, highlands, franklin, cashiers, nc, and clayton and mountain city, ga.
now if i could get in to black rock mtn park, ..hmm..
i married the bride on top of that mountain a little over 5 dog years ago..
id also l8ke to go to fall creek falls in tn again, and tims ford..
a lot of possibilities open up.

now for a big question..
how do i tow the boat behind it?

probally put new tires on it before i wander.

but yes, cooler is better, no arguments there.

cool on the new hobby..
id like to get into freshwater fishing again after many dog years and pick up salt water fishing.

You will need to get a hitch installed on the RV. You will probably need a weight distribution hitch also if you don’t already have one.

Tires. That’s a big issue, dry rot or not. If they are west lakes. Get rid of them!
