Just picked up a 1992 classic 180 Dutchmen rear bath side dinette.

Let the modernization begin!

Plan on new flooring, LED lights in and outside, repairing a marker light in the progress, and a new commode. Although everything works, I want to upgrade a couple things.

Need to source a new door and look into what I can do to the roof to keep things good. No leaks, but looks like it has seen a few years without any coating. Kind of a newbie in this regard, prior camper was a teardrop with a solid fiberglass roof. Help?

Nice looking rig! Welcome to our forum..... I am sure you will be able to enjoy both months of your camping season in that rig :LOL::LOL:

Front axle has 2 quality Goodyear trailer tires 6 mo old. Rear axle needs 2 new ones. Obvious older tires although still good to great tread, no cracking. Problem: one is 15 inch like the fronts, one is a 14 inch! D'oh! The good news is the very new spare is a 15, so I will replace the 14 with that one. Will buy a second just like it for the other side. The older 15 will become the spare for now.

May want to check them for load range and stuff... a blowout on the road can be a disaster and take ALL the fun out of a trip.

Did that, spare and front axle all have matching load capacity and speed rating. Plan on having the axles greased and spindles inspected before first trip
