My wife and I just purchased our first trailer this week, and pick it up this Saturday. Up until this point we've only been tent camping, so this is all new to us. However, my wife did grow up with trailers, and her parents, who live very close own a 5th wheel and have been a fantastic resource for us, during the buying process.

Its a 2013 Denali 262RLX, and we will be pulling it with a 2006 Chevy 2500HD Duramax.

Looking forward to learning a lot from the resources on the forum, and getting to know our rig.

That looks like a nice floor plan. It appears you might even be able to use most of it with the slide in. Nice.

Enjoy and welcome to the forum. :)

Thanks! Yeah when we looked at the trailer (the slide was out) it appeared that even with it closed we'll be able to reach the bathroom, open the fridge door, have access to entire kitchen and even sit in the dinette, so was a good floorplan for lunch breaks on longer trips.

We are very excited to see how this trailer works for us, and can't wait to pick it up Saturday.

Nice rig! I'll give you two weeks to forget you ever slept on the ground in a tent. Welcome to the forum.

Thanks everyone! I got her home safe after doing the walk through, and honestly having never pulled anything that size before I was a little nervous, but pulled like a dream.

One thing though, that we already found that isn't working properly, and unfortunately it wasn't discovered during our walk-through. The LCI auto leveling system, has a wireless remote controller that controls the awning, safety light, slides, front jacks, and rear stabilizers. However, once home and parked on the pad, all those features worked except the front jacks and stabilizers. When I pushed the button, I could hear a "click" from the control module but nothing happens. I wonder if possibly a fuse or relay is the cause? I called the dealer, but with it being a used unit technically it isn't under warranty, and when I called their service dept. was already closed. However, the guy that answered said they would help us figure it out.

Any suggestions??

Does the auto level work when you operate it from the control panel. Sure hope it does. I don't have the remote for those operations so I guess I won't be much help.

Hi and welcome to the Forum. We have the same model Denali (2011). We don't have the self levelling system, but we do have the remote control. I had some problems with the remote and found that a new battery helped considerably. If it is a similar remote as mine, it will be a 12 volt battery that looks like a short AA. Batteries are not cheap and don't last long. After a while I stopped using the remote - I found it just as easy to use the panel or exterior levelling buttons.
Yes, you can access bathroom and fridge with slide in. That was a feature that we were advised to look for. Just be careful with the corners of the cabinets when you squeeze past them. The imitation woodgrain starts to peel. I ended up putting corner molding on the edges.
Enjoy your Denali.

Great information, thank you!
