I just discovered "dutchmenowners.org/forums" and want to introduce myself. I live in Cypress, Texas (near Houston).
I bought my Aspen Trail 1900RB trailer in May of 2012 to replace an old trailer I had fixed up and used for a year. My rig is a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer with a towing package and a Hensley hitch.
In July and August of 2012 I traveled from Houston, TX up the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive to central Pennsylvania to visit and then went via Ontario Canada to International Falls, Minnesota. From there to Grand Forks, North Dakota and then headed toward home. I spent two months on the road and traveled 6000 miles.
I enjoyed traveling with few fixed schedules so I could stop and go as I pleased and send as much time as I wanted visiting or exploring. The only problem I had with my trailer was a failed Carbon Monoxide detector and then I had a differential bearing problem on the car.
Other obligations prevented taking a similar trip planned for 2013 but hope to this summer.
