My advice is keep a note pad of the little things that need to be fixed in your RV and do not take it in for warranty work until you have had it out a few times. Without the notes when you finally do bring it in you will likely forget some of the minor stuff. And if you bring it in too soon there might be things you have not noticed yet.

I am not trying to be a downer or saying there will be major problems but I would expect a few things to either not work or break within the warranty period that will need to be fixed.

Good luck and enjoy your new rig!

Hi,
I am a new owner as well. Just purchased ours last week. We bought a used 2810BHS. I have 3 grandkids who have outgrown the 23 FT Award we have summered in for the last 3 years. I am also looking forward to the hints and tips that I may find here.

Welcome to the family. I'm just a distant relative that pops in a few time a year but I've always been treated like I live here ;) Fixing to spend a few weeks in our Aerolite. Whoot, just found out it is Satellite ready from the company.. YAY

Enjoy We got ours last July 2890BHS. First 5 times out got we rained on. Not just a little rain but the hard thunderstorms that build quickly. Heeded the advice and didn't even put the awning out. Sure enough 3 pads down from us, someone's awning was in shreds.

I did spend quite a bit of time swapping out the AC plugs in the center entertainment center with AC plugs that have the USB charging ports. Plus added a AC plus where the TV area is.
Also swapped the AC plugs beside the master bed with USB charger ports
We have enjoyed ours and are looking for places to go every weekend.... Works keeps getting in the way darn-it.
Enjoy and good luck!!!
