Hello from Spokane, WA.....
We purchased a new Denali 289 RK last fall, but had to put it into storage for the winter the day after we brought it home.... :-sad-
My wife, Cheryle and I are sure looking forward to using that TT later this spring! :-cool
We love the floor plan with the two slides as well as the Mountain package and the Almond interior color......
It seems to tow GREAT with our 2010 F150. We really hope that this forum takes off with lots of users and some great information being traded back and forth.....

:-cong Congrats on your new Trailer Glenn. Sorry to hear you had to put it into storage so soon. I'm sure you will make up for it pretty quick as soon as the weather gets better.

We are planning an 8,500 mile trip starting in April that will circumnavigate the U.S.!

Sounds incredible! About how long do you think you'll be out?

I don't mean to sound flippant......but we are going to stay out until we get back. Retirement is GREAT!
I figure we'll be home sometime the first part of July. I don't want to be on the road for the 4th of July, so if we can't be home by then, we will stay out the extra week or two.....
Gas prices are scaring me a bit, but this is a once in a lifetime trip for us.

Not at all! Still sounds fantastic! I'm looking forward to the day when we can go out and not worry about getting home for work.

Man I'm envious! 6 more years before I'm eligible for early retirement, can't wait.

Cheers
Daryl B

I retired just before turning 59, and am enjoying it tremendously. In the last 11 months, we've only had to turn on the alarm clock three times! I love getting up at the crack of 9!
Where I worked offered an early out, where they pay my retired medical costs for 8 years.....I took it and ran!
Enjoy your job for the next 6 years....stay mentally healthy!

Hello all: We are new to this Forum. We are seriously considering a Dutchman Denali 270FK with the mountain package. This will be a big jump for us in size and weight. Our current trailer is 21 ft long and 3,600 lbs. I'm encouraged to hear, Glen, that your Ford F150 pulls the 289 RK without difficulty. We have a Ram 1500 with the 5.7 L Hemi and 3.92 rear end. I'm also encouraged that I don't see a lot of complaints about the Dutchman/Denali brand...am I missing anything? We too will be taking off one day to do the country......I look forward to hearing how your trip goes.

well i think we have you beat we bought our denali2 89rk in dec last yr and has been back to dealer 3 times the factory and sitting in the rv garage since all set up and ready to go ,why do you ask does it sit, well it leans to the slide side they got most of it out but when you have to tilt your head its not right, so they are tring to find us a new one with the mountain package and expresso int, we love the lay out and classy interior, ITS BIG.

anyone else have any other issues?
