I just broke off my cheap socket set trying to swap...Going to have to go down to a real place and have them swap for me. I checked and it is 80 lbs of torque. I'm not even sure how much that is. When you retire things start going... I'm not sure on the "A" bracket thing. My hitch does not move. I really appreciate everyone's help. I bought the hitch and RV in Kansas 650 miles away. That is part of my problems...
Tom I went out and checked thanks for the A & B stamp. I also saw that in the directions. I'll look into Timbrens. Frankly, I don't even know what they are, but will shortly... I sure hope moving these brackets around does some good!
Great Suggestion! Timbrens are also a great help with leveling and ride. Moving the hitch forward with your long bed will improve the ride and Timbrens definitely help the sag without effecting the ride when not hauling. I had great success with Timbrens with my SRW F250. Easy , simple install and no maintenance issues.
BD thanks for taking the time to take a picture.... I'm going to get my stuff swapped out take it on a test drive and then do something. This looks like something I may want to do. I don't really want to do air bags and have to deal with all that. Going to call B&W tomorrow and see if I can talk to someone other than the janitor...haha
Thanks for all the great info. Got the hitch changed around and I'm looking into other options. When I pull unit out of storage and see if the two inches made some difference will look at other. Once again, thanks for everyone's input!
March 10 th... Hooked up the unit...The tork lift uppers and moving the hitch forward was the trick.... Things look great. Thanks to everyone's advice on this. The truck is a little stiffer without the unit on it but is great when it is loaded.... Have a great one!
