New to us 2020 Cub 198 had working outside speakers when we bought. First trip out when we tried to use outside speakers, the sound was super quiet.

Inside works fine and when both are on, inside ok, nothing outside. And when just outside, can't hear.

Ideas? Any wiring info or ideas that I can check myself?

It is the iRV19. Ever try to find a wiring diagram? If anyone knows how to remove the outside speakers so I can check the houseing there, that would be great. Just note I am NOT technical and other than knowing what a screwdriver is, it would be fantastic to give me the dummy version.
I guess I would need some type of caulking to put them back on?

If you have a ladder, you may be able to climb up and see if it still plays sound. Blown doesn’t mean it won’t work, but could be very quiet or severely distorted.

If you find it has a little bit of spind, my guess is a quick speaker swap would work.

On my older trailer outside speakers look like a couple of screws and taking off thevcalking.

When buying calking you can get silicone from the hardware store or Dicor from the RV store. Buy other than auto leveling since this is roof only, not side walls; it will run on side walls.

I believe my speakers are blown. I can only think the monsoon rains were way too much. I don’t use them at all so I’m avoiding changing .

Thanks! I do get a little sound out of them. So perhaps they ARE blown
Like my speakers do now.

I am not convinced mine “blew” in the normal sense. They look like normal car speakers that are meant for an inside installation. I just think the rain got inside the speaker and ruined the paper for the speaker.

I’m hesitant to replace mine since the next rain could do the same thing,

They sell speakers made for boats, I bought four and replaced all of mine and they lasted. You can get them at any outdoor world. Or buy yourself a Bose revolve…

Its so funny that I just sold a few months ago all my boat speakers. We decided not to replace sound system on boat. Dang!!!
