Hello from Florida!

We upgraded our pup last July for a 2015 Aspen trail 3010BHDS. We have 3 kids, and a dog that come along with us. The added room is amazing! We tent camped for years, but when we moved to the south, we stopped. It is just to darn hot for a tent. :) We purchased a pup in 2014, and used it a ton. I long rainy weekend in the Kentucky mountains sealed the deal on getting a bigger rig. We are still learning our TT, and making small upgrades and changes. We do one long distance trip a year so we have until July to get everything in order. Our most recent purchase was a new tow vehicle. Well a new to us 2005 Excursion. Took it on a trip last weekend and pulls with plenty of power left. Now to fix the loose front end so it's not a wrestling match to keep it between the lines. Look forward to learning some tips of the trade!

Welcome to the forum neighbor. We live in Illinois but spend a portion of the winter at John Prince Campground. Right next door. Stop by for a "beverage"

Howdy,
I’m still pretty new here too, and believe this is one of the best forums I’ve seen yet. Lots of great ideas and good people exchanging ideas with no drama. I’ve learned so much on here in just a few weeks which only proves that no matter how long one has been doing this, there is still much to learn. Heading for Homosassa FL on Thursday, can’t wait to get away from this cold.

:-cong On you new RV. Glad you found us. Ask away with any questions you have. Hundreds of years worth of RV experience on this site.

Welcome Fouradss,
Best of luck with your new TT!
This really is a great forum. Lots of experience gathered here. They even put up with newbie chatterboxes like me!

All the best..

Just remember all of us were newbies at one time. For me that was last century plus a few decades ago.

We just bought a Coleman, small travel trailer. Single axle. They are made by Dutchmen. Plan to do light camping in SW Missouri area. No long big trips, nor often trips. Is there a Coleman folder on this site? Or are all the Dutchmen made trailers pretty universal information? Thanks for letting me in group.

Yeehah! Another Coleman owner.:-tup:-apl;-helo-:

Welcome to the forums! Which Coleman did you get? Add it to your signature line so we know what you have.

Not really a separate section on here, we kind of fall under the Ultra-Lite heading, but a lot of the general information applies too. The biggest advantage is; we don't have all the fancy, expensive gewgaws that don't work and cause heartburn.

Aaron:cool:

Welcome! Seems to be a great forum. Lots of ideas and projects, not that my wife doesn't give me enough of them.

Hope you have some great adventures!

Welcome and happy trails.

If you have any questions on your new trailer, WAHOONC is your man.. I am sure he can answer anything on your Coleman....

Lots of info on here from a lot of great people.
